From behind the drafting table:

We’re a team of professional, specialized consultants with engineering and architectural backgrounds.  We’ve been in business since 2005 and together our group has more than fifty years of combined experience in the field of acoustic and vibration control.

Our firm is just the right size to maintain the hands-on style we prefer.  And when the scope or scale of a project calls for additional expertise, we also can partner comfortably with appropriate, outside specialists. What ever the size or complexity of the job, we’re players now, and we can handle it.

An irony of our business is when we’ve done the job right, all our hard work is or should be imperceptible.  When we’ve focused our attention on resolving existing or potential noise and vibration issues of a particular project, our clients shouldn’t have to. For us, a job well done is one that enables our clients to work or live in relative peace and quiet.

Chris Papadimos, Principal

Mr. Papadimos is responsible for the overall management of the firm and all major project assignments. He has been consulting continuously since 1989 on building acoustics and vibration. His experience includes numerous projects involving structural noise and vibration, noise and vibration control for mechanical systems, architectural acoustics and environmental noise and vibration. After graduating from UCLA in 1989 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Magna cum Laude, he gained hands-on consulting experience while working on large-scale new construction projects internationally for both San Francisco and New York based firms prior to starting his own consulting practice in January 2005. Chris remains professionally active in the development and review of acoustical standards and design guidelines and as a voting member and programs chair of the Technical Committee on sound and vibration for the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
